The Golden Bell, Leighton Buzzard

Our last away game and penultimate game of the season was a must win against Leighton Town and the boys did not let us down, avenging the 2-2 draw at Creasey with a whopping 6-1 victory over the Reds.

Having already visited a few pubs in Leighton, due to the Ducks ground sharing, we picked The Golden Bell for this glorious April afternoon. With its front dating from the 18th Century and Grade II listing this lively and welcoming community local has a single bar with low-beamed ceilings and sofas at one end.

Food features fresh produce from local suppliers and is served throughout opening hours. Guest beers often include Adnams Broadside, Sharp’s Doom Bar or St Austell Tribute, one being on gravity dispense.
